This Dump Trailer Rental Agreement is a legally binding contract. By booking and submitting payment, the renter agrees to all terms below.
Pricing & Payment:
Customer agrees to pay the quoted amount for the 6x12x3 (8yard) dump trailer as well as any overages incurred due to overloading or additional days requested by the customer. Customer is responsible for all dump, disposal, and landfill fees incurred from loading material over the included 1 ton allowance, as determined by the landfill or transfer station scale. Loads exceeding the trailer’s maximum allowable capacity of 3.5 tons (7,000 lbs) will incur an additional $200 overweight handling fee.
Customer is responsible for any additional fees assessed by the landfill for certain items such as tires, appliances, etc.
This dump trailer rental includes use for the contracted day(s). There will be an additional daily rental fee as disclosed at the time of booking.
Payment for all base fees as well as any known additional rental time will be due before delivery of the trailer. Any additional fees incurred, including overweight or disposal-related charges, are due upon completion of service and may be charged to the card on file.
By paying the invoice, customer represents that they are the legal cardholder or authorized user of the payment method provided. Use of unauthorized or fraudulent payment methods may result in cancellation of service and pursuit of all available legal remedies.
Card on File Requirement:
A valid credit or debit card is required to be kept on file in order to complete an online booking. By booking a rental, the customer authorizes Uncle Sam Dumpsters LLC to store their payment method securely and to charge applicable fees in accordance with our cancellation, no-show, late return, damage, and overweight policies.
Authorization to Charge Card on File:
Customer authorizes Uncle Sam Dumpsters LLC to charge the card on file at any time after service completion for any outstanding balances, including but not limited to overweight fees, extended rental fees, cleaning charges, damage, prohibited material handling, failed delivery attempts, or other charges incurred under this agreement.
Terms & Conditions:
Use of Dump Trailer:
While the Dump Trailer is in the customer’s possession, they will not:
Place or allow to be placed into the trailer substances hazardous to health such as toxic or corrosive materials or liquids; Any liquids of any kind whether contained or not; Cans, drums, or other containers of any kind unless they are empty and crushed so incapable of carrying any liquid; Medical waste or animal carcasses of any kind or quantity; Any other material not listed above, however considered unsuitable for containment e.g., malodorous waste; Including but not limited to: asbestos, paint, tires, gas bottles, fridges, freezers, TVs, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, vehicle batteries, computer monitors, liquids, and solvents.
Customer will not fill the trailer higher than the top of its sides and in such a manner as to prevent spillage of material from the trailer either while stationary or in transit.
Customer will not light fires in or near the dump trailer.
Customer will not load more than 3.5 tons (7,000 lbs) into the trailer.
Customer understands that weight limits are estimated and final weight is determined at the landfill/transfer station scale.
Customer is responsible for any damages to the container/trailer other than normal wear and tear while it is in the customer's possession.
Customer will not climb on or be in the trailer, etc., while in their possession. Customer assumes responsibility for any injuries or misuse.
Customer is solely responsible for all contents placed inside the dump trailer, including compliance with landfill and environmental regulations.
Access and Ground Conditions:
Customer is responsible for providing clear and safe access to the delivery location and ensuring ground conditions are suitable for placement and removal of the dump trailer. Customer acknowledges that surface damage (including but not limited to asphalt, concrete, pavers, or soft ground) may occur due to the weight of the trailer and accepts this risk. Uncle Sam Dumpsters LLC is not responsible for damage to driveways, lawns, or other surfaces resulting from normal delivery, placement, or removal of the trailer unless caused by our direct negligence. If the trailer is not accessible for scheduled pickup, additional rental or retrieval fees may apply.
Failed Delivery or Inaccessible Location:
If delivery cannot be completed due to lack of access, blocked placement area, unsafe ground conditions, or inaccurate delivery information provided by the customer, the rental may be considered a failed delivery and a fee may be charged to the card on file as disclosed in the booking policy in effect at the time of reservation.
Indemnification:
Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Uncle Sam Dumpsters LLC from any claims, damages, fines, penalties, injuries, or expenses arising from the use, placement, contents, or misuse of the dump trailer while in the customer’s possession.
No Subleasing or Third-Party Use:
Customer may not sublease, loan, or permit use of the dump trailer by any third party without prior written consent from Uncle Sam Dumpsters LLC.
Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. Any legal action arising from this agreement shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within New York State.
Acceptance of Agreement:
By booking online, signing electronically, or accepting delivery of the dump trailer, Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions of this agreement prior to payment at the time of reservation. Customer agrees to all booking, cancellation, rescheduling, and operational policies presented on the product description page at the time of reservation, which are incorporated herein by reference.
